Kelsey Nelson has over 20 years of dance experience. She is a graduate of Oklahoma City University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Dance Management. Some of her professional credits include Hardrive Productions, Event Show Productions, Universal Orlando, Six Flags, Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA, Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL, and Royal Caribbean International. Kelsey continues to pursue her professional performing career by getting involved all across the state of Florida. Kelsey has recently co-founded the jazz company Hybrid Dance. This new jazz company was founded to provide professional performing opportunities for the best of the best in the Tampa Bay area. She is looking forward to all the wonderful opportunities Hybrid Dance will bring both her and her dancers. Along with performing, Kelsey has worked for Universal Dance Association and was a Head Instructor in the state of Kansas along with traveling the country teaching. She has worked special events with UDA, such as the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the World Dance Championship in Orlando, FL. She also judges Universal Dance Association’s National Dance Team Championships and is one of UDA’s choreographers for the 2009 summer high school/college camp circuit. Kelsey travels from coast to coast sharing her knowledge of dance with young dancers through being a judge for two national talent competitions. She loves to be able to provide positive feedback and critques to improve a students dance technique and style. Kelsey is a member of the Florida Dance Association and is very involved in the dance community in Tampa, FL. She teaches at several different studios around the Bay Area along with being a freelance choreographer and teacher. Visit www.kelseynelson.com Kristen Sheridan has over 20 years of dance experience. She has studied ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, and hip-hop. Kristen attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and danced on the nationally ranked UW Dance Team. She was a dance camp instructor for Showstopper Camps of America for 7 years and became their Associate Camp Director and Featured Choreographer in 2004. Kristen has worked with and choreographed competition routines for high schools in Illinois, Missouri, and Ohio. She has danced professionally as an Adrenaline Rush Dancer for the Chicago Rush Arena Football Team and in the NBA as a Chicago Luvabull for the Chicago Bulls. Kristen danced for the Bulls for three seasons and was a captain her third season. Currently Kristen is the owner and camp director for Star Performance Company, offering dance camps for competitive high school teams. 2009 marks her second year as the Head Coach for the USF SunDolls, having been Assistant Coach in 2007. |
